Anyone with an interest in cybersecurity is welcome! You do not need to hold an ISC2 certification to attend events or get involved. To become an official chapter member, you must be an active ISC2 member in good standing.
If you are already an ISC2 member, you can affiliate with the Denver Chapter through your member portal at isc2.org. If you are new to ISC2, start by creating a free account or pursuing a certification at isc2.org, then come join us!
Not at all. ISC2 offers multiple certifications including SSCP, CCSP, CSSLP, CGRC, and more. Candidates and associates are equally welcome.
Yes! We welcome anyone interested in cybersecurity, whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned professional. Many of our members joined before earning their first certification.
Meeting schedules are communicated directly to members via email. Make sure you are on our mailing list so you never miss an update! You can also follow us on LinkedIn for announcements.
We host both in-person events across the Denver metro area and virtual sessions so members anywhere in Colorado can participate. Location details are included with each event announcement.
Most chapter events are free or low-cost for members. Some special workshops may have a nominal fee. All pricing is communicated in advance.
Absolutely. We encourage you to bring colleagues who are curious about cybersecurity. It's a great way to introduce them to the community.
Yes, there is an annual chapter membership fee of $25 USD. Dues help fund events, speakers, and community initiatives.
Dues are renewed annually. You will receive a reminder via email when your renewal is approaching.
Members who have not paid may be removed from the active email list and may not be eligible for member-only benefits or voting rights within the chapter.
Yes! Many ISC2 Denver Chapter events qualify for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Details are noted for each qualifying event.
