The (ISC)² Denver Chapter has served the Denver Metropolitan area since 2013 promoting interest in the information security field and supporting the mission of (ISC)2. The Chapter connects like-minded individuals to receive education from attending meetings and events offered by the Chapter. We seek to inspire members to help others through community and public service initiatives and ultimately secure the community by generating awareness and empowering others to protect themselves online. Our members share knowledge, grow professionally, raise security awareness, and advance information security throughout their local communities.
Ram Ramadoss, CISSP
Ram Ramadoss is a business, technology, risk, cybersecurity, compliance and customer-focused strategic leader with nearly 23 years of demonstrated success in privacy, information security, technology risk management, digital, data governance, security engineering, security architecture, security operations, IT auditing, compliance, systems engineering, IT architecture, Health IT compliance, program management, and business process areas.
Ram served as the Executive Vice President for the ISACA Denver Chapter and a core team member of HIMSS National Information Privacy and Security Committee.
Ram also served as a core team member and represented Catholic Health Initiatives at the National Health Care Industry Cybersecurity Task Force, established by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Jim Raine, CISSP
Jim Raine is a cybersecurity executive leader with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and operating security businesses across commercial, federal, and international markets. He brings a rare combination of executive leadership and deep technical credibility, shaped by senior roles spanning hypervisor security, threat intelligence, MDR, and federal cybersecurity programs. As a sitting executive at Vali Cyber and EclecticIQ, he has led revenue growth, built partner‑driven go‑to‑market engines, advanced platforms toward DoD Authority to Operate readiness, and delivered material pipeline and contract wins with disciplined execution. Jim is a CISSP and CCIE and a long‑standing leader within the ISC2 community, having served as President, Past President, and now Treasurer of the ISC2 Denver Chapter, where he helped guide the organization to 501(c)(3) status and supported workforce and community security initiatives. His leadership style is grounded in operational rigor, mission focus, and building resilient organizations capable of sustained growth in high‑risk, high‑impact cybersecurity environments.

Lumakar is an experienced IT Professional with a proven track record of over 20 years in the industry. Currently serving as an IT Director at one of the largest food companies in the USA, he oversees application and database system support. Lumakar is skilled in mentorship, leadership, and fostering team collaboration. He is passionate about cybersecurity, dedicated to educating others on its importance, and committed to driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of IT operations.

Ibrahim Dere, CC
Ibrahim Dere is an IT Audit and cybersecurity professional with over five years of experience in IT Audit, SOX compliance, and risk management. He has a strong track record of improving control maturity and reducing audit deficiencies across complex environments. As Membership Director, Ibrahim is dedicated to growing and engaging the ISC2 Denver Chapter community. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer and staying active in the gym.

Kelli Trent, CISSP
Kelli Trent has been a defense contractor and ISC2 member for over 20 years. In May 2024, after 16 years with her previous employer, she changed jobs and went to work for a small company and is currently an employee of Virginia based SATSS, LLC working in Englewood, CO. Her primary role for most of her career has been in Information Assurance as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE). Kelli works with development teams to ensure the allocated security requirements/controls are correctly implemented on the system and drives the process to acquire and maintain Approval to Operate (ATO). She has received numerous accolades from customers and team members for successful accomplishments throughout her career. Kelli has achieved system ATOs in record time, learned various other roles/tasks when needed for the program, and has mentored several others. Outside of work Kelli is a mother of two teenagers and a wife. She loves to travel, snowboard and slalom waterski, do house projects (e.g. built decks, remodeled bathrooms), and help others when she can.

Lakhbir Singh, CISSP
Lakhbir Singh is a wireless communications expert specializing in network security. As Senior Director of Wireless Access Engineering at Charter Communications, he has extensive experience in secure wireless systems and large-scale security solutions like PKI. He holds certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, and Security+, and has contributed to the FCC CSRIC VIII workgroup on O-RAN security. Lakhbir’s educational background includes a BSEE and an MS in technology management, along with a recent MIT program. He is also an advocate for network security awareness and enjoys family time, travel, hiking, and reading.
