About (ISC)2 Denver Chapter
The (ISC)² Denver Chapter has served the Denver Metropolitan area since 2013 promoting interest in the information security field and supporting the mission of (ISC)2. The Chapter connects like-minded individuals to receive education from attending meetings, events, and study groups offering by the chapter. We seek to inspire members to help others through community and public service initiatives, and then ultimately secure the community by generating awareness and empowering others to protect themselves online. Our members share knowledge, grow professionally, raise security awareness and advance information security throughout their local communities.
(ISC)2 is the largest not-for-profit membership body of certified information security professionals worldwide, with more than 150,000 members in 175 countries. (ISC)2 certifications are are recognized as the global standard for excellence and was the first information technology credentials to meet the stringent requirements of ANSI/ISO/IEC Standard 17024, a global benchmark for assessing and certifying personnel. They allow you to prove your expertise and highlight your skill mastery. And for employers, having certified employees means your organization is better prepared to protect your critical information assets and infrastructures.
(ISC)2 also offers a variety of education programs and services based on its CBK®, a compendium of information security topics. The CBK defines global industry standards and best practices in information security. Education offerings consists of the Professional Development Institute, leadership tools, and through support of The Center for Cyber Safety and Education.
